"My first time trying Burmese food. The food was amazing. The owners were the best thing about the restaurant. They explained the menu and cuisine and had suggestions that I might not have tried on my own and it would have been a shame I never experienced it. I'm looking forward to my next visit and I just left."

"The person at the front was every kind and informative. They answered all my questions. I got the beef curry with rice. 2 puris and some chicken soup. Im not totally for sure what the potato and carrot dish was but it was delicious!!!! The puri were hot and so delicious. They were very sweet and I liked the texture a lot. The beef stew was also very tasty. It was not spicy at all but had a great depth of flavor to it. The meat was super tender and portion sizes were great. With tip I still barely hit 20$ absolutely will be back."

"Absolutely loved the meal my wife and I had at Shine. Employees were friendly and the food was outstanding. It's been a while since my favorite Burmese restaurant closed (Shwe Mandalay) and I FINALLY have a place to go to get one of my favorite burmese dishes - Lahpet Thoke (tea leaf salad). Highly recommended, and if you're worried about branching out and trying something different - give this a shot - you won't be disappointed. Also - the Burmese Tea, come on now - that warmed the soul on a cold winter's day. We'll be going back... regularly!"

"We left smiling ear to ear. The place was quiet, clean, and inviting. Soft music playing from the back. The owners, kind and welcoming. The food, authentic and delicious. If you're even considering going.... Just get in your car right now. Just go."
